[General Description]

This technical report specifies the function of receivers and the operational guidelines in the broadcasting station of the Ultra-High Definition Television broadcasting with the transmission system for advanced digital satellite broadcasting.

The Ministerial Ordinance and the Notification of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications about the Ultra-High Definition Television broadcasting system is enforced on 3 July 2014 and then the ARIB standards (STD-B32, B44, B60, B61, B62, B63) relating to the broadcasting format of this broadcasting system are enacted and are revised afterwards. This technical report is assembled by broadcasters and manufactures as a draft that includes the playout operational rule of broadcasters to conduct real broadcasting service and desirable specifications of a receiver to watch broadcasting service based on the Ministerial Ordinance and Notification of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and ARIB standards.
