[General Description]

Among the specified low-power radio stations defined in Article 6 of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act, which uses 400 MHz-band and 1,200MHz-band, this Standard provides for i) telemetry radio equipment designed to automatically indicate and/or record the results obtained by measuring instruments located remotely by means of radio waves (while excluding the one for medical purposes); ii) telecontrol radio equipment for the transmission of signals to activate, change, or deactivate the functions of devices located remotely by means of radio waves; and iii) data transmission radio equipment for transmission and exchange of information which was processed or will be processed, mainly by coding (while excluding the one implanted into the body for medical-purpose data transmission and remote measurement, and the one for international transportation).
