[General Description]

This standard specifies air interface of the “Equipment such as wireless card system, etc. which reads and writes information of storage medium (hereinafter referred to as “transponder”) using frequency of 13.56MHz” (hereinafter referred to as “Inductive reader/writer communication equipment”.

This standard defines the “Equipment requiring permission by Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications“ and “Equipment requiring no permission, and designated by the Minister” among Inductive reader/writer communication equipment.
