How to Use the ARIB Web Store
1. What is the ARIB Web Store?
The ARIB Web Store is a site for searching and purchasing the ARIB standards and technical reports (“Standards etc.”) sold by the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses (the “Association”). The following actions can be performed on the ARIB Web Store.
(a) Search for and purchase (download PDF files) the Association’s Standards etc.;
(b) Register as an ARIB Web Store download member;
(c) Change the details of, or cancel, your ARIB Web Store download membership registration; and
(d)Review your purchasing history.
2. ARIB Web Store Users
The ARIB Web Store can be used by anyone. In order to use the ARIB Web Store, it is necessary to register as a download member. Please review the Download Membership Agreement for more information on the Association’s download membership program.
3. ARIB Web Store use times
ARIB Web Store is accessible 24 hours a day. Please note, however, that there may be times when services are temporarily suspended to perform system maintenance and so on.
It is possible to search for ARIB Standards etc. by product category or to conduct fuzzy searches by document number, title, and so on.
Purchases of Standards etc. are in principle limited to download sales of PDF files, and consequently, the methods of ordering Standards etc. and making payment on the ARIB Web Store are limited.
If you wish to make a purchase of Standards etc. in printed form, please place your order by telephone and so on.
The procedure for placing orders and making payment on the ARIB Web Store is as follows.

| 1. Add products to your cart | On the detailed display screen for the product that you wish to purchase, click on the “Add to Cart” button. |
| 2. Make changes to your cart | The Standards etc. that you click will be added to your cart, and the cart screen will be displayed. If necessary, you can change the quantity or delete an item. Note: If you add multiple Standards etc. to your cart, they will all be displayed in a list. |
| 3. Finalize the content of your cart | To order the displayed items in your cart, click on the “Purchase Procedures” button. If you wish to purchase other Standards etc. click on the “Back” button. |
| 4. Membership authentication | The “Download Member Authentication” screen is displayed. If you are a download member, input your download membership ID and password and click on the “Log In” button. If you are not a download member, please perform the member registration procedure. Note: If you previously performed the membership authentication procedure, you can skip this step. |
| 5. Input payment method | Select your preferred payment method, and after input, click on the “Next” button. |
| 6. Confirm input information and consent to the Standards Use Agreement | The input details confirmation screen is displayed. If you do not wish to make any changes, click on the “Purchase Completion Page” button to finalize your order. If you wish to make any changes, click the “Back” button and input any necessary changes. Note: (a) If you previously performed the membership authentication procedure, you can skip this step. (b) In case of credit card payment or PayPal payment, please enter card information or PayPal-ID to the authentication screen that appears after the agreement. |
| 7. Order finalization and product download | The order completion screen is displayed and an order confirmation email will be sent (it is not possible to download products at this time). After the Association confirms credit card payment or remittance, a payment confirmation email will be sent. Please download purchased products as indicated in the email. Note: After your payment is confirmed, it is possible to download it up to three times for one week. |
Payment of the purchase price for Standards etc. that you order can be made by one of the following methods. We will send you a statement of delivery at a later date (within 20 days maximum). No invoice, or receipt will be issued, so please use the order confirmation email and settlement and payment confirmation email delivered after placement of your order in place of these documents.
(*)Delivery notes are issued only for domestic sales, and are not applicable for overseas sales.
(*)If a company name is registered as a download member, the delivery note will be issued to the company name, otherwise it will be issued to the individual name.

Domestic and Overseas Sales
1. PayPal payment
If you make payment using PayPal, it is necessary to register an account with the PayPal service provided by PayPal Pte. Ltd.
When you place your order, input your PayPal account information and make payment. The only payment method is one-time payment.
Settlement will be performed through PayPal, and accordingly, your credit card information is managed by PayPal Pte. Ltd. and the Association does not retain any credit card information (card number, PIN, etc.).
Domestic Sales
1. Credit card payment
If you make payment using a credit card, input your credit card information online when you place your order and make payment. Settlement will be performed using the DG Financial Technology, Inc. settlement system.
The following credit cards may be used.
Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club
The only payment method is one-time payment.
Your credit card information is managed by DG Financial Technology, Inc. and the Association does not retain any credit card information (card number, PIN, etc.).
2. Bank transfer
When making payment by bank transfer, the transfer information will be displayed on the purchase screen, so please use that information to make payment at a bank ATM or via online banking.

Your order will be accepted after the Association confirms the payment.
If you do not transfer the funds within two weeks after placing an order, your order will be cancelled.
3. Convenience store transfer
When making payment by convenience store transfer, the transfer information will be displayed on the purchase screen, so please use that information to make payment.
Convenience stores that can be used to make a bank transfer are as follows.
7-Eleven, LAWSON, FamilyMart, MINISTOP, Circlle K Sunkus, Seicomart, Daily YAMAZAKI.
Your order will be accepted after the Association confirms the payment.
If you do not transfer the funds within two weeks after placing an order, your order will be cancelled.
Standards etc. ordered from the ARIB Web Store are subject to payment of consumption taxes pursuant to Japan’s Consumption Tax Act. Overseas sales are exempt from the Tax under the Law.
Indicated prices include transfer fees and the like paid to financial institutions.
In the case of payment by PayPal and other similar methods of payment, cancellations and changes to purchased Standards etc. before the payment is made. Please note that cancellations and changes cannot be made after payment by PayPal or other means.
Returns and exchanges of purchased Standards etc. are not permitted. However, in the following cases only, returns and exchanges are permitted.
(a) In the case where a Standard etc. different from the one you ordered is delivered because of an ARIB Web store system error, an exchange for the correct Standard etc. will be made.
(b) In the case of electronic defects such as misplaced pages or missing pages, the Standard etc. will be replaced with a non-defective copy.
Standards etc. and text, images, and data on the ARIB Web Store is protected under the Copyright Act. The Copyright Act prohibits reproduction, copying, and modification of all such items, whether in whole or in part, without approval.
When downloading PFD files, it is necessary to agree to the separate Standard Use Agreement.
Watermarks (license information) are added to all pages of downloaded PDF files. The watermarks contain information identifying the license holder including the purchaser’s name, company name (the information registered at the time of download membership registration), order number, and purchase date and time. Please use Adobe Reader X or higher to view PDF files.
A download membership ID and password are required to use the ARIB Web Store.
The download member bears all responsibility concerning management and use of the download membership ID and password, and you may not cause any harm to the Association even in cases such as unauthorized use by a third party. If a download membership ID and password agree with the information in the Association’s possession, any relevant conduct will be considered the conduct of the download member.
The ARIB Web Store encrypts download member information and order information using SSL (secure socket layer).
The Association does not make any guarantees concerning the content of Standards etc. Furthermore, the Association shall not bear any liability whatsoever for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage including economic damage and losses arising from the use or possession of Standards etc. by a user. The user shall bear all liability with regard to results arising from the use and possession of Standards etc. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
