[STD Number]ARIB STD-T107
[Standard Name]920MHz-Band RFID Equipment for Specified Low Power Radio Station
[Enactment Date]2012/2/14
[Version] 1.0
[Revision Date]
[General Description]
Among the Specified Low Power Radio Stations defined in the Article 6 of the Regulations for Enforcement of Radio Law, this standard specifies on the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) equipment that uses the frequency of 916.7 MHz or more and 923.5MHz or less specified in the Article 49-14, Clause 6 of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment. (This RFID refers to the identification of mobile objects that radio equipment performs by receiving the radio wave emitted from a responder.)
The target system is a medium-or-low output power type passive tag system in which a conventional medium-output power type radio station (250mW or less) standard specified as ARIB STD-T100 for Convenience Radio Station, and a low-output power type radio station (10mW or less) standard specified as ARIB STD-T90 for Specified Low Power Radio Station are combined into this specified low power radio station (250mW or less) type standard.
In addition, shared technologies such as transmission time control, carrier sense are used to improve effective use of radio waves and enhance convenience of the medium-or-low output power type passive tag system.
Note that this standard specifies the technical requirements of the radio equipment comprising an interrogator, an antenna, and a responder, while it does not specify communication protocols between the interrogator and the responder (a standard for interoperability).
