This technical report describes the program production guidelines of the high dynamic range images of the HLG system, which have been specified in the STD-B67 and adopted in the Advanced broadband satellite broadcasting system.

This document defines the definition of the reference white in the HDR program production of the HLG system, the mapping method from SDR to HDR, and the typical signal level.

This document is consistent with the ITU-R BT.2408 report issued by the International Telecommunications Union in October 2017.
